Michael Keaton, an American actor and producer, is best well-known for Birdman. The versatile actor is equally adept at both comedy and dramatic. Apart from playing romantic roles, he also played in action films as well as thrillers. His passion for the performing arts started when he was in his teen years. He attempted stand-up comedy during his 20s. It was not a successful profession in comedy, but it did pave the way for an acting career. As he was not able to make it as the actor of his dreams, he decided to be a TV cameraman. The job at the station is where he realized it was his dream to be in front of cameras. Then he was able to get a television role and appeared in numerous episodes on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was naturally gifted and became very popular on television. His comedic performances made him famous and he began a career as a filmmaker with high ambitions. The actor became more famous for his role as Batman who was the title character in Tim Burton's Batman. Over time his acting ability improved and he began to explore production and directing. The year 2014 saw his appearance as Birdman garnered him many nominations and awards.
