Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. She was raised listening to traditional, old boleros as well as traditional romantic, ranchero, as well as romance ballads. Ana is enthusiastic about tangos and operas. In addition, she is a fan of performing in dramatic shows. Ana started learning how to sing and play music at an early age together with her mom. The formal vocal training in the year she turned 16 old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. The singer continued her education in the field of music with the School of Music of Guadalajara University. She then attended the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was part of numerous opera choirs as well as chamber ensembles. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. The singer currently sings classic Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. The passion and love she has for arts, music and performing keeps her involved in many local projects as a performer and teacher. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently a teacher at the Performance Loft. Ana finds it a pleasure to have having the chance to share her passion and passion of traditional Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to inspire a passion to, particularly in the younger age group to keep this music vibrant and alive.Viva Mexico!
